The Eberle Group
Another visit to beautiful Scotland Posted by GeorgeThe Eberle group conclude their tour of Scotland today with a round over the New Course, St Andrews.
The tour started in Edinburgh from where the group headed north to Dornoch. They resided in the Dornoch Castle Hotel which seemed to fit well with their request for a Scottish flavour. During their three days up North, they played over Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and Nairn. On the morning of departure from Dornoch en route to Nairn they dropped in at the Glemorangie Distillery near Tain. From there it was off south, but not forgetting to pop into a favourite spot on the A9 - the House of Bruar for a snack and some shopping!
Three days of glorious sunshine in the North of Scotland was followed with 5 more days of sunshine in St Andrews. The accommodation in St Andrews was very close to the Old Course, Pilmour Place offers a very attractive choice of rooms of a very high standard. St Andrews offers something for everyone not only for the golfers. Their final outing today includes a dinner at the Strathkinness Tavern - a very Gastro Pub, and a visit to the Eden Mill Gin Distillery. This concludes 14 visits for this group to St Andrews.
